Bendigo

Connect Church has a rich history of faith, growth, and impact in our community. Planted in 1980 by Pastors Tim Hall, Ian Fenn, and Jeff Hulls, the church was birthed from a desire to see a thriving Pentecostal presence in Bendigo. In December 1981, land was purchased on Solomon Street, and by 1985, the Wallara Chapel was built—becoming a home where many found life and hope in Jesus.

In 2016, Pastors Kerrin and Tegan Wallis stepped into Senior Leadership, leading the church into a season of growth, health, and new ministries. By 2020, the church hall was renovated and expanded to accommodate the increasing impact of Connect Church in the region. Today, Connect Church Bendigo stands as a significant and thriving church, committed to raising and equipping the next generation.

As we step into 2025, we celebrate a new season of leadership with Josh and Jo Battersby as our Senior Pastors. With a passion for seeing people find life and live it, they are excited for the future of Connect Church and all that is ahead in the vibrant town of Bendigo. The mission remains the same—to see lives transformed by Jesus and to continue growing a church that impacts our city and beyond.
